How are leads identified or developed?

SMB TechLeads provides our clients with qualified leads through acquiring Small to Medium-size Business(SMB) data from a database source and supplementing that data through a 16 point telephone interviewing/data collection process.

As SMB leads are developed they are aligned to appropriate SMB TechLeads clients or Vendors, based on the vendor’s account profile, and are then delivered through secure, custom client portals. Each sales lead includes the SMB prospects’ company and decision maker contact information, install-base environment, business growth plans, change indicators, purchase qualifiers, as well as anecdotal data.

When leads are purchased, are they exclusive to the client making the purchase?

We have both exclusive and non-exclusive subscription options available.

Our Non-exclusive subscription option is a means to significantly lower the cost per lead we can offer you, considering an SMB ‘buyer’ will typically seek out multiple suppliers/vendors to research and evaluate before making a purchasing decision. This also enables us to provide SMB buyers with a few vendors to speak with and from which to evaluate. Leads are distributed a maximum of only two to four times.

How recent is the data that is provided with a Lead and/or Profile?

You will receive recent information with each Lead and Profile, as we typically deliver you the leads and profiles within one business day of gathering the data from the prospect. We ensure that the maximum age of the data we provide you will not exceed thirty (30) days.

How many other companies will be receiving the same leads I receive?

We will distribute non-exclusive leads only a maximum of two to four times, which is the typical number of suppliers that most business buyers would minimally evaluate before making a purchase commitment. This is also what allows us to reduce your cost per lead.

Will the prospective client be made aware of my organization before we contact them?

If you have subscribed for a Non-exclusive lead program, all lead prospects have requested to be contacted by Vendors (Suppliers) but we will not be making them aware of the specific suppliers who will be contacting them. When introducing yourself and to ensure a smooth transition, we recommend you to communicate that you were referred to them by B2B MarketDirect regarding their upcoming (relevant product/service) needs.

If you subscribe for an Exclusive lead program, all lead prospects will be made aware of your organization and will expect to be contacted by one of your company representatives.

Can you provide the names of other companies who will also be receiving my leads?

We are not able to disclose the name of the companies who will be receiving the leads, for equity purposes. This ensures an unbiased environment and equal treatment across all company suppliers/providers.

What is the smallest package available to purchase?

We offer a few different lead products across a variety of vertical market segments. The smallest packages available for purchase would be through our Monthly Subscription plan vs. a Quarterly or Annual plan. The minimum amount of leads that can be purchased are outlined below for each lead product:

Profiles 100 per month
Leads 10 per month

 

What Segmentation or Filter options are available for the Lead Packages?

Filters will be available and if applied will add incremental cost to the lead price. These filters can include Geography (based on SCF code: the first 3 digits of the zip code, or Area Code), Industry (based on SIC code), etc.

How do I access my leads and when will the leads be distributed to me?

Leads can be viewed online and will be delivered to you as they are identified via a secure online custom client portal with the full monthly quantity of leads for which you subscribed being delivered within a 45-day time period. The 45 day period accounts for a two week lead time or start up time period. We will look to minimize this if your program continues for consecutive months, and will do our best to actually deliver all your monthly subscription leads within 30 days. We can send you an ‘alert’ email every time a new lead is posted to your online account, if you have requested this when setting up your online account.

The leads can be easily exported in almost any client-required format to allow for easy import into your existing CRM.

How do I gain access to my online account / custom portal?

You will be provided a URL, user name and password to access your secure online client portal. This should be saved as it will be required each time you want to access your account.

Is there customer service support if I encounter problems or have questions?

Can I change my Subscription/Order?

Yes, you have the flexibility to change certain elements of your subscription or order. Some examples of subscription changes might include:

  • Change to our Quantity of Leads: you can make this change to your online subscription form and it will become effective for subsequent months following the month that the subscription change was made, assuming there is a minimum of two weeks before the start of the subsequent month. If the subsequent month begins in less than two weeks, than your change will become effective the month after the subsequent month you applied the change.
  • Change our subscription from a Monthly to a Quarterly or an Annual subscription, or vice versa: To do so, simply access your Subscription Form located on your secure online client portal to make the appropriate edits.
  • Change to Contact Information: To do so, simply access your Subscription Form located on your secure online client portal to make the appropriate edits.

What are the lead products you offer across the different verticals?

We offer varying types of lead products depending on the vertical market, as outlined in the Leads Options section.

What data is included in your lead products?

The data provided in a Profile will be comprised of Company Profiling data, including Top Decision-maker Contact Information(varies by vertical), Headquarter location (if applicable), Number of branches/locations, Company Size (Employee Size and/or Annual Revenue range), Industry, Significant Company Changes in last 12 months, Growth Plans and Technology environment data(for Tech Vertical).

The data included in a Lead includes Company Profiling data (as outlined above for Profile leads), Software Application or Insurance Coverage Environment (depending on Vertical). Tech Software Leads are inclusive of planned or projected purchases or upgrades within a 0-18 month timeline, existing applications, budget or expected expenditure, and stage of the sales cycle. Insurance Leads are inclusive of a contract ‘X’ date that is less than 3 months or greater than 8 months with data on current coverage and current level of satisfaction.

What is the price of your lead products (leads and profiles)?

B2B Marketers/Vendors can sign up to receive Leads on a monthly, quarterly or annual subscription basis. Please contact us for specific prices, based on your desired subscription volume and subscription period.

Can I dictate how many leads per week will be delivered to me?

No, you cannot dictate the quantity of leads you receive weekly; however, we will do our best to attempt to evenly spread lead delivery throughout the course of your defined subscription period.

What type of Reporting do you provide?

All leads will be reported through our proprietary online, web-based Reporting system. Customers will have their leads distributed to them online and will also receive access to their own online lead management system.

Our clients will also have the capability via our Online Reporting system to directly export the lead data, as required. Our Online Reports will also provide our client base with daily, weekly and cumulative statistics on the leads that were distributed to them.

How do I check on the status of my Account and my Lead or Profile Subscription(s)?

You will have a Real Time dashboard that displays the complete status of your account, including the number of leads delivered to date and the number of leads remaining, based on your subscription. You will also have the ability to view all lead detail of delivered leads with the ability to view a graphical analysis of your leads across numerous data elements (company size, industry, budget, purchase timeframe, current application, etc.).

What information is provided when I access my online account?

When accessing your online account, you will be able to view the following information:

  • Lead Package(s) Order or Subscription
  • Actual Leads Delivered (exportable into multiple formats, ie: excel, CSV, Word, etc.)
  • Account Status Report
  • Account Order History (under development)
  • Archived Leads (under development)

What are the advertising opportunities on your website?

How do I make payment and what are the Payment Options?

We accept payments via Invoice or American Express. This can all be facilitated online when you set up your subscription through a secure custom client portal.

What are the Payment Terms?
There are three options:
  • 100% payment in advance on pilot programs of 15 leads or less.
  • 50% payment in advance w/ monthly billing net 10 day terms
  • 25% payment in advance w/ bi-weekly billing net 30 day terms.
